A high-speed pursuit on the 101 Freeway Wednesday ended with a nearly detached bumper and the suspect driver disappearing into a parking structure at the NOHO West Shopping Center in North Hollywood. A California Highway Patrol vehicle attempted a PIT maneuver on the highway during the pursuit but failed to spin the car around as intended.
